Rest assured that the gospel is offensive---It screams you’re not good enough. It screams at you there there is a standard of living that God expects and it’s called holiness—and try as you might you have never and you will never meet those requirements. You cannot earn your way into heaven. And you need to be forgiven of your past. You need to be forgiven today and you need to be forgiven tomorrow.
